As the Chair of the Corporate Equalities Board I am delighted to welcome you to the Equality and Diversity web pages. Our Journey has been both exciting and challenging as we continue to progress and improve with the support of our Equality and Diversity Team.
Our current work includes increasing the number of disabled people employed by the council through disability work placement schemes. We are also very proud of our community fairs which have become an annual event. These help to improve access to information and our services and are run with our district councils.
These pages will provide information, advice and guidance and the latest news on all the Equality strands and our work. Through these pages we hope you can become as involved and committed to Equality and Diversity as we are at Worcestershire County Council.

We have now produced a report with all those comments and the details of what we intend to do in response
