Worcestershire County Council now offers the opportunity for all married couples to reaffirm their wedding vows through their own personally tailored ceremony.
These ceremonies can be used to celebrate a special anniversary or occasion, regardless of the length of time you have been married or the Country in which the original ceremony occurred.
These ceremonies can currently take place at any Registration Office or Approved Premise in the County of Worcestershire, at a mutually convenient time. You do not have to live within the County to have one of our special ceremonies.
The ceremony will be performed by Registration Service personnel, although they will not be acting in their officical capacity as Registrars.
There is a main outline ceremony which can be enhanced by your own personal readings, choice of music, exchange of gifts and rededication of existing rings, or the giving of new rings.
A Commemorative Certificate signed by yourselves, two witnesses and the officiant will be presented (but please note this will have no legal status).
There is a fee payable for this service. Please contact your local Register Office for details. This fee will be payable at the time of booking your ceremony.
Telephone, visit or email any of the offices listed below to discuss and arrange your ceremony requirements.
You will be required to produce your current legal Marraige Certificate to the Registration Service personnel at the time of booking your ceremony. You will then be offered an appointment to.attend the office to discuss your individual requirements.
Please select the office required.
