The Research & Intelligence Unit is involved in providing a range of support for Worcestershire County Council and its partner agencies regarding monitoring and evaluation.
This encompasses high-level monitoring against output and outcome targets for policy and strategy delivery, through to detailed evaluation programmes of activity. Many research and dissemination techniques are used, incorporating quantitative and qualitative techniques. This section of the Research website provides a number of examples of current and past monitoring and evaluation programmes.

The R&I Unit has undertaken a major evaluation of the Youth Inclusion and Support Programme (YISP) on behalf of the Youth Offending Service. This was released in late summer 2007.
