A big thank you to everyone who took part and supported the 2008 Switch It Off campaign.

Did we switch off?

This year Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Coventry achieved a reduction of 22MW during the Big Switch Off, 4.30-6.30pm on Friday 24th October.  This is enough energy to power over 3,000 typical three bedroom homes for a whole year!!

Between 2.30pm and Midnight on the same day, the three areas reduced energy use by a huge 98MW below expected demand.
